Questions, answered
Is Mimicore really free?
Yes. The free plan keeps 20 minutes of live voice a day, all 28 effects, the soundboard and the voice gallery, forever. Live (from $3.99 a month, ₹99 in India) makes the live voice changer unlimited; Studio (from $6.99, ₹149) unlocks everything: cloning, mixing, training, Speak and Dub. Annual and lifetime options are available.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
Pick Live or Studio (monthly or annual) and start the trial from your account page. We charge ₹2 (or $1) once to verify your payment method and set up autopay, and refund it right away. You get full access for 7 days. Billing starts only when the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before that, with one click on your account page, and pay nothing. One trial per person.
What if I forget to cancel the trial?
You'll be charged the plan price when the trial ends (the amount is shown before you start), and the plan then renews each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time: access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Lifetime plans are one-time payments and have no trial.
Does my voice get uploaded?
Never to us. Recording, cloning, live conversion, speech and on-PC training all run on your PC. If you choose cloud training, your recordings go only to your own Google Drive and a Colab session in your own Google account: Mimicore can see only the files it creates there, and they're moved to your Drive trash once the voice is installed. We store only your account email and plan.
I don't have an NVIDIA graphics card. Can I still train a voice?
Yes. Cloud training uses a free NVIDIA GPU from Google Colab in your own Google account: same trainer, same three quality levels, same result. Start it in the app (Voices › Train a voice › Cloud) or on the Cloud training page. Instant voices and all effects work on any PC without training.
What PC do I need?
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). A DirectX 12 graphics card from NVIDIA, AMD or Intel is recommended for live voices; effects run on any PC. Training your own voice needs an NVIDIA GTX 16 / RTX 20 series card or newer with 4 GB+.
How do I use it in Discord, Zoom or games?
Mimicore installs the free VB-CABLE virtual microphone for you with one click. Then pick “CABLE Output” as your microphone in the other app.
Can I dub my videos into other languages?
Yes. Dub a video transcribes the speech, translates it sentence by sentence and speaks it in your voice, fitted to the original timing. It runs fully offline with the free Dubbing add-on and gives you a WAV track plus SRT subtitles for any video editor.
How do I make a trained voice sound like me?
Use Calibrate to my voice on the Live page: read one sentence and Mimicore sets the pitch and noise gate for the closest match, then remembers them for that voice.
Can I control it while gaming?
Yes. Global hotkeys work while a game has focus: start/stop, push-to-talk, mute, switch voices and play soundboard sounds without leaving the game.
Where can I learn everything step by step?
The user guide walks through every feature, with recipes for Discord, streaming, YouTube dubbing, voiceovers and private calls, plus troubleshooting.
Can I clone anyone’s voice?
Only your own voice, or a voice whose owner has given you permission. Mimicore records a spoken consent statement and marks generated files as AI-generated. Impersonation and fraud are forbidden by our Acceptable Use Policy.
How do I cancel my plan?
Any time, on your account page under Your subscriptions. Cancelling during the trial ends it at once with nothing charged. Cancelling later stops renewal, and the plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.

Mac beta · free
Mimicore for Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or newer, macOS 12 or later). It is free while it is in beta: every feature is unlocked until the official Mac release. Early build: the app is not notarized yet, so open it with right-click, then Open, the first time. For Discord, Zoom and games install the free BlackHole 2ch driver; Mimicore walks you through it. Live voice changing needs a fast Mac; effects, Speak, Dub and cloud training run on any.
Beta builds send diagnostic logs to us automatically so we can fix problems on Macs. They exclude audio and what you type, and you can switch this off in Settings. Details in the Privacy Policy.
